Tornado

On the afternoon of July 13, 1895 a tornado that began in Cherry Hill, New Jersey made its way to Woodhaven, Long Island in New York.  This image is a hand-colored lantern slide in the archives of the American Museum of Natural History. It shows an area where the tornado caused massive destruction, though Cherry Hill sustained more damage.
